Monidron
Infrastructure and civil works monitoring system and methodThe Monidron system is an innovative, effective monitoring technique, designed to detect structural problems in bridges, road and railway viaducts, tunnels and landslides, using a system consisting in a fixed control station and a specifically-equipped aerial unit.
The system is based on the survey of linear movements on the three geodetic axes of the different sections of a structure. Measurements are made by photogrammetric scanning, with tolerance limited to a few millimetres, using a system of passive tags installed on the monitored structures and univocally recognizable at the operating heights.
